Hello, I am Alexandra Rigazzi-Tarling and I'm a Vocal Coach and Technician, Vocal Sound Healing Practitioner, Trainer and Mentor, and a Vocal Massage Therapist consulting on a range of topics relating to holistic voice work. As a former opera singer, I have worked with voice for well over 25 years.
I originally trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London; I have a master's degree in music performance and a master's in psychology specialising in mental health and wellbeing research.
I am passionate about the healing effects of voice on the body and mind and its ability to reflect a person's state of health and being on all levels. I have worked as a trainer with the College of Sound Healing in the UK for the last 10 years, studying Sound and Shamanic Healing originally with Simon Heather (the founder of CoSH), and my workshops and courses on the topics of healing voice and vocal sound healing encourage participants, both beginners and professional voice users alike, to develop voice as a healing tool for their own health and wellbeing as well as personal development.
I have seen that developing the voice in this way begins to uncover an individual’s authentic or natural sound, often facilitating deep shifts in perspective around vocalising and feeling ‘heard’, releasing fear and leading to a deeper sense of self-empowerment and agency.
I have lots of lovely clients around the world (thanks to the Zoom platform) and my 1-2-1 sessions as a vocal coach and vocal technician combined with my understanding and experience of vocal sound healing supports my clients' journey of vocal unfolding from both a physical and energetic level.
